Regina’s Secret Spaces: Love and Lore of Local Geography
2005 Canada - This book was an anthology of essays and poems by eighty writers, artists, architects, musicians, patrons of the arts, and cultural theorists who were invited by the editors to share their favorite secret about the capital city of Saskatchewan. Guy La Fayette contributed an article called BUFFALO AND IMPERIAL LEGACY (pg 26 -27). This was a critique of the colonial appropriation of the sacred symbol of the buffalo. The coffee table- style book was published by the University of Regina and the Canadian Plains Research Centre. Below are some of the photographs that Guy included in the essay.
